IXH Trading (“IXH”, “we”) is a trading company based in Alexandria, Egypt, and is responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

• Offer and contact requests: company name, contact person, business email, phone / WhatsApp, country, product, quantity, delivery basis, destination port, your message, the language and page you used.
• Defense division access requests: name, position, organisation, entity type, country, official email, phone, the purpose of the request and your confirmation of authorisation. Approved addresses receive one-time codes by email.
• Technical data: your IP address and the time of a request, used to deliver messages, limit abuse and protect the site.

• To answer your inquiry, prepare offers and perform contracts.
• To carry out KYC, sanctions screening and other trade-compliance checks, and to decide whether to grant access to the Defense division.
• To keep the site and the access system secure and prevent spam and fraud.
• To comply with legal obligations that apply to us.

Depending on the context, the legal basis is steps taken at your request before a contract, our legitimate interest in running a secure business, legal obligation, or your consent.

Necessary (always on): your language choice, your cookie choice and, for approved Defense clients, a secure session cookie.

Optional (only if you choose “Accept all”): cached currency rates and headlines for the live ticker.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies or analytics. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.

When you open the site, your browser may connect to the following services, which then see your IP address: Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) for typefaces; open.er-api.com for currency rates and api.rss2json.com for news headlines in the ticker; and image hosts such as images.unsplash.com and images.hostinger.com, and YouTube video thumbnails and titles (i.ytimg.com, www.youtube.com). The YouTube player (youtube-nocookie.com) loads only when you press play. Links to LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube simply take you to those sites.

Our hosting and email providers process data on our behalf to deliver the site and your messages.

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers acting for us, with banks, inspectors and other parties where this is necessary for a transaction you have requested, with professional advisers, and with authorities where the law requires.

We are based in Egypt and work with counterparties and providers in other countries. Where data is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps to protect it in line with applicable law.

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, for the duration of any resulting business relationship and for the record-keeping periods that apply to trade and compliance documents. Security and rate-limiting records are kept only as long as needed for those purposes. Inquiries sent through our forms are also kept in our private team inbox as business records.

We use HTTPS, access controls, signed sessions, one-time codes and rate limiting to protect the site. No online service is completely secure, so please do not send information that is not needed for your request.

Subject to applicable law, including Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020) and, where it applies, the GDPR, you may ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your personal data, object to its use, withdraw consent and receive a copy of your data. The site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children.
